The vision of the Waltham Arts Council’s founding members has endured since the fall of 1975, and in 2025 we celebrate 50 successful years!
We are a volunteer driven organization of individuals who desire to support the arts and to provide artistic programing at little or no cost to the Waltham community.
We are currently thrilled to offer the 50th season of the Concerts on the Common. The season will begin on Tuesday July 1st and run through Tuesday, August 26th. This includes our fifth year of Artists Row, providing an opportunity for local artists to share their art with the community.
We continue our excellent arts collaborations by donating art supplies to Waltham school classrooms, offering craft activities at the city’s Easter Bunny celebration, providing our annual Holiday Sing-Along with a visit by Santa, and partnering at Waltham events to encourage the arts in Waltham. Additionally, are holding annual fundraisers to raise money for the Bill Walsh Scholarship, awarded to Waltham High School students pursuing collegiate studies in the arts.
If you would like to assist us in our mission, please contact us by phone at our answering machine 781-893-2787 or email president@walthamarts.org. Additional volunteers are always needed. If you have any art related programing you would like to see but we are not currently providing, please feel welcome to contact us for discussion! Board meetings are open to the public.
You can also support us by becoming a member of the Waltham Arts Council. (membership is for the calendar year January 1st – December 31st, 2025).
