Waltham Arts

Council

The vision of the Waltham Arts Council’s founding members has endured for over 40 sucessful years.

2017 brings a bright future for the Waltham Arts Council.  We have been re-building and re-focusing our mission to be more representative with the vision of our founding parents. In that spirit, we are developing new programs, new oppotunities, new experiences and an all inclusive direction.

Our mission is to celebrate Art and Culture while bringing the Waltham area community together.

Our 2016 year ended very successfully with our yearly Community Sing-A-Long. That, in combination with the success of our Annual Concert on the Common series and our Bill Walsh Scholarship fundraiser marked 2016 as one of the most successful years in Waltham Arts Council history. It also served as the corner stone to building our 2017 program calendar.

In addition to our standard events, Concerts on the Common, Art Classes, Community Sing-A-Long, we are working on sponsoring trips to cultural institutions, Instructional art classes for children, a night with the Waltham Show Choir and a surprise for our Bill Walsh Scholarship in the Fine Arts fundraiser.

With our mission comes new opportunities. Opportunities for your involvement through your ideas and volunteering. Opportunities for community support through sponsorships, attending an event or becoming a member of the Arts Council.

We cannot continue to provide and develop quality programs without your help. We ask for your continued membership pledge. We welcome anyone who is interested in joining any one of our committees. Your input is very important to us.

Please review our Membership Application or use Paypal and join online. Complete and mail it back with a check made payable to The Waltham Arts Council.
