The Waltham Arts Council continues to present annual art classes to the Waltham community. These classes are taught by qualified Waltham Arts Council Board members.

Spring 2006 Art Classes Announced:
The Waltham Arts Council is pleased to announce the beginning of its spring painting course. Open to all ages and skill levels, classes will begin on Saturday, April 1 and will be held every Saturday thru May 27 (except April 8), at the Clark Government Building at 119 School Street from 9 am to 12 noon.

The classes will be taught by two experienced teachers, Bernard Klim and Heather Park, both from the Waltham Mills Artists Association Studios at 144 Moody Street, Waltham. Each is an accomplished artist with devoted followings and exhibition experience in New England and beyond. They will divide the eight week course in half, teaching four classes each.

Instruction will be available in oil paint or acrylic paint. Students must bring their own materials, and can receive a list of materials by e-mailing Michael Wilson. The cost of the classes is $90 for Waltham Arts Council members and $100 for non-members. Scholarships are available for qualified high school students.
