From The Waltham Arts Council President
Hello,
This year marks the 30th consecutive year that the Waltham Arts Council has sponsored “Concerts on the Common”. This outstanding venue has grown to be one of Waltham’s favorite family events. The Arts Council is very proud of this signature event, and we will work hard to keep this tradition going for many years to come.
As a group, the Waltham Arts Council Board of Directors, has been reflecting on past successes, and decided that we would like to expand our programs over the next few years. We have established a “Strategic Planning Committee” that will begin to formulate plans for future events, such as funding field trips for adults, and students at our local schools, within our culturally rich city. We also plan on expanding our art classes, and we are in the middle of planning several other events. We thank you for your support and generosity, and ask that you consider becoming a volunteer for the Waltham Arts Council. Here is how you can help:
- Volunteer at any single Waltham Arts Council event.
- Become a member of the Waltham Arts Council by completing the attached application, and sending a check to the address specified on the application.
- You can complete an application to join our Board of Directors, or any one of our sub committees.
- You can simply enjoy our concerts and other events and support us through your generous donations when we “pass the bucket”.
